What if Alexander the Great conquered a part of India?

Afaik (correct me if I'm wrong) he had been fighting a war against a country in modern day india; but some of his soldiers mutinied, and he was worried the rest of his army would do the same. So, he instead made peace with the Indian Prince or King. So, what if, before he wnt to conquer the Achaemenid empire, he conquered Sparta & Crete. giving him more soldiers, thanks to this strength in numbers, and more experience, he conquers the Achaemenid empire more easily, and with less casualties. So, when he reaches India, he not only has more soldiers thanks to having Cretan as well as spartan soldiers, but also less macedonian & other greek soldiers died in the conquest of Persia. Then, even if his soldiers start to mutiny in TTL, let's say he tries to push this war to the end. What happens next?
